How does the picnic experience work?
We will setup everything, ready for your arrival at the chosen location. Once you arrive, we will leave you to enjoy the picnic for the reserved time. You will be responsible for the items until we return to pack everything. If you would like to leave earlier, please provide 30 minutes notice.
Where do you do the set-ups?
We can set-up at the beach, park, at your home, backyard, or at one of our suggested locations. We just need to abide by any food and alcohol regulations the park or beach may have.
When you request your picnic, let us know in the comment box what location you had in mind and we will do everything we can to make it happen!

How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend 3 days in advance. This allows our food vendors time to prepare any items that may be included in your package. However, don't let this deter you from sending in a request! We will always try to work with you to make the picnic happen.
What does the charcuterie boxes/platters include?
Charcuterie includes: assorted cheeses, prosciutto, salami, fresh fruits, crackers, and dry fruits.
Should there be any dietary requirement, we would be more than happy to accommodate.
What other food can you provide?
We work with some of the best vendors in the Treasure Coast Area to deliver a truly luxury picnic experience.
We can assist you to organize a different menu and give you suggestions according to your preferences and budget.
Can I bring my own food and beverages?
Yes, you can! Our Basic Basket package does not include any food or beverage items, other than water.
If you'd like to bring your own wine or beer, we can provide a standard-sized wine bucket with ice for $15, or a large bucket with ice for $25.
You are welcomed to bring any food you like as we provide plates, utensils, napkins, and cups for your use!
What about alcohol?
We don’t provide alcohol for any of our picnic experiences. Whether it’s a public or private space, rules may apply. Please visit your county Park and Recreation Department for more information.

Alcohol is not permitted on St. Lucie County beaches.
Alcohol is permitted on most Martin County beaches provided you are 21 or older.
How do I secure my booking?
A 50% retainer fee is required to secure your booking. The retainer fee is non-refundable. The remaining 50% is due 10 business days prior your event.
When Florida weather says “wait a minute…”
We know Florida weather can and will be crazy and unpredictable.
- If the forecast app shows a 50% chance of rain/bad weather, client has up to 48 hours prior to their picnic date and time to decide whether to opt for an indoor setting or to reschedule it for a further date (subject to availability).
- If you are confident taking the risk to proceed with your scheduled picnic despite the weather forecast, we ask that you sign a waiver stating you acknowledge the chance of rain and accept that Divine Picnics does not offer any refunds past the setup of your picnic as booked.
- The client has up to 90 days reschedule/alter their picnic details, given they are equal or higher value.
- Once the Picnic team has set up the picnic as booked, refunds will not be taken into consideration.
What if I’m late?
We appreciate punctuality, but we know things can happen and guests could be late. Please be advised that we offer a grace period of 10 minutes.
The reserving client is responsible for calling or texting us at (772) 304-9145 in the case of late arrival, however, please note that it is not guaranteed that our attendants would be able to wait past the grace period.
Failing to inform us will result in the booking being considered a no-show, the picnic will be picked up, and no refund will be due.
Please consider extra time for your commute to beach locations on weekends, since eastbound traffic and parking will add time to your trip.
Kindly note that the agreed time for the picnic starts at the original time that it was booked, whether guests are on time or not. See you there!
What is your cancellation policy?
At the time of completing the picnic booking (containing a contract), the client agrees to pay a 50% non-refundable retainer fee to lock in the picnic.
If the client needs to reschedule, a minimum 5-days’ notice prior to the scheduled picnic is required. In the event the picnic needs to be rescheduled, the client must rebook the new date within the next 90 days.
All cancellations will result in loss of the deposit, and all cancellations made with less than 5 days’ notice will result in loss of deposit and final payment.
Client is responsible for food costs if picnic is rescheduled.
What if I am not in the Treasure Coast area?
The prices displayed on our websites and social platforms reflect those for most Treasure Coast areas. All events and set-ups taking place beyond these limits will incur an additional fee above the posted price.

What if I need to leave the picnic earlier than expected?
We could adjust to an earlier pick-up, provided we receive a call or SMS from you with 25–30 minutes in advance. Please note the picnic items will be your responsibility until we pick them up.
What if I break something?
First, don’t panic, as things happen!
Should any damage to, or loss of any picnic property happen, it must be reported to us as soon as it happens, via phone or text.
In the case items are found to be damaged or lost by DW crew after the event pickup, it will be properly documented with pictures and sent to you (client). Client is fully responsible for replacement/repair cost(s) of the picnic rental items that incurred damaged or were lost.
Do I need a permit?
That depends on the location you choose. If there’s a special spot you want, we will let you know if there’s a permit or anything special needed. St Lucie County requires 2 weeks to process permits.
Client is responsible for all fees involved in obtaining a permit.
